A social game for meeting people around you

MyBlock is an app for meeting new people. You join a lobby, answer the same questions as everyone else and read what they wrote. When you get along with someone, you message each other. The rest is up to you.

The app is in testing. It will come to iPhone and Android. If you want to know when, write to info@myblockapp.com.

What's inside

No profiles to swipe and no photos to rate. You get to know people by how they answer.

Live Lobbies
Question matches in small groups. Answer, read the others' answers, comment. It takes a few minutes.
Discussion tables
One topic, a few steps, everyone has their say. It skips the silence of the first five minutes.
Chats
Private and group chats with the people you met, plus a General chat open to everyone. You can send photos that disappear once viewed.
Communities
Public groups about the things you like, including ones near you, each with a chat and a board.
Events
Real-life meetups organised by people who use the app, with a chat to sort out the details.
Profile
Emblems, banners, covers and name colours, unlocked with Sampietrini, the in-game currency: you earn them by playing or buy them in packs.

The rules that matter

The full version is in the Terms of Use. These are the ones we want to say up front.

Adults only
You must be at least 18 to use MyBlock.
A person decides
Warnings, suspensions and bans are always decided by a moderator.
Checked photos
Photos in public spaces are checked before others can see them.
Approximate location
Only if you turn it on, rounded to about 2 km. Nobody can see where you are.
Report and block
Available on every message, photo and profile.
Delete whenever you want
Photos, messages and your account can be deleted from the app, no need to ask.
